- Echamos agua hasta cubrir y empezamos poniendo el fuego fuerte, cuando empiece a hervir, echamos la hoja de laurel
- Dejamos que cueza, tendremos que estar pendientes de ir despumando al principio, hasta que no veamos más espuma.
- Lo tendremos cociendo a fuego medio unos 45 minutos, ir echando agua, no puede bajar el nivel de agua de media olla
- Cuando veamos que empieza a estar tierna la carne, cortaremos el chorizo en rajitas y se lo echamos, también incorporamos las zanahorias(peladas y cortadas a trozos)
- Dejamos que el chorizo empiece a soltar su sustancia
- Echamos la cucharadita de pimentón dulce, un chorro generoso de aceite, y los dos dientes de ajo, enteros y sin pelar.
- Dejamos que cueza unos cinco minutos no más
- Veréis que el caldo ya está espeso (se puede añadir todavía un vaso de agua más si os parece demasiado espeso)
- Es el momento de añadir nuestras lentejas, escurridas y aclaradas
